Pastry Course Review: Authentic Response

Are you a little chef who loves to get your hands tied up in the artwork of pastries? If affirmative, “ Baker’s world” is the perfect course to upgrade your baking skills. The two-week course taught me a handful of techniques and tricks to treasure for lifetime.

As a course designed for beginners and intermediates, it covers from subtle details like setting the right temperature in oven to tough tasks like crimping edges decoratively in a tart. With all the kitchen utensils and ingredients provides together with experted chefs at assistance, it created an ideal atmosphere making it worthwhile for the money spent on it.

The course is categorized mainly into two phases; an observation session in which importance of inter-personal skills is highlighted such as time management and organization skills. Furthermore, the appropriate methodology of carrying out certain tasks for instance, kneading the dough, caramelizing sugar and much more was demonstrated well. I skillfully applied the added knowledge in the practical session which is the second phase. A variety of pastries were prepared including almond-topped bagels, pretzels, butter-cream croissants to name a few. It was learning new terminology that i found the most interesting during the whole course.

For those who dream of opening their own pastry shop or start a career as a baker, “ Bakers world” is certainly the golden key to open up the door for success.  Similarly, people with a “ sweet tooth” can easily develop the skills of making fresh home-made pastries which are thousand times better than store-bought ones!
