Hey Mark,

Sorry for not writing or ages. I was depressed as something terrible happened.

You know how addicted I’m to the TV, my mom has even labeled me as a ‘Couch Potato’. I can’t listen to anyone when my eyes are fixed on the TV. My adorable little sister came to show me her brand-new toy which was an appealing miniature-sized doll made from oakwood. I paid no attention and just gave her a deaf ear. She got annoyed and dashed it towards the TV and everything went black in the blink of an eye.  The broken pieces were scattered all over the house.

You guessed it. I was going to scream at her to the top of my voice taking all my rage at her but when I was just about to get started, I changed my mind as nothing I do or say was going to change the fact. Plus, half of it was my mistake and if I shrieked at her I’ll be the one who’ll have to waste my precious time and energy consoling her. I took a deep breath and stepped out and came back later and cleaned up the mess before I called the nearest repair center.

Anyway, without the TV I was going out of my mind. I first started running all over the house. Mom told me to go outdoors. The first day I went to the park, but it was dull, and there was nothing for my liking. The next day I went to the beach to get some fresh air. I couldn’t believe I’ve forgotten the fact I live near the beach. It was fabulous. My mind took a trip down memory lane, and I remembered all the good-old times I spent with you. Just like our childhood days, fishing, searching for shells and hunting for octopuses became my past time hobby again.

You should come and experience it yourself again. Don’t forget your camera. This time we need loads of photos.

Best Wishes

Rashan
