iESL Lesson – Passive Voice 2

Imagine taking your students through a scary story about a scary ghost and they get to learn the most important passive structures of the English language. At the same time, when they do a follow up exercise, they get to learn a bit about Islamic ideas and facts. The exercise is designed in such as way that “Islam” has been integrated into language teaching. Actual names of the students have been used to make it more personal and friendly. Some of the ideas in the sentences about students are in fact true! Enjoy this free iESL grammar lesson from eslmojo.com – Sharing makes a difference!

Free tip: You could ask your students to make notes while you explain the rules and give the presentation. I asked my students to remember the details of the story as well ( because I wanted them to rewrite the story in their own creative way using the passive structures – download a copy of a former student’s response below).
