A Star Model Letter by Nafha::
Dear Evelyn,
Sorry I didn’t reply sooner but yesterday was totally jinxed. Let me tell you about my tragic day that scared the living daylights out of me.
Yesterday I woke up a good twenty minutes late, for a start, and had to run to school on an empty stomach. It was when I stepped into the class (yes, Miss Lee let me in after the usual lashing) I remembered about the history test after the recess. So when the recess bell rang, I rushed to the cafeteria with my notes and diary (of course!). Unwittingly, I nodded off in the cafeteria and woke up late, again. No sooner had I regained my sanity than I let out a cacophony of scream and practically ran to the class, leaving behind my diary.
I was on my way to home after school when I realised my diary was missing. When I tumbled to the fact my life was on exhibition, I panicked and ran back to the cafeteria in record time only to find an empty table. I suddenly got gripped by hysteria and I was about to lose it when Travie James, our school’s daffiest boy, tapped on my shoulder and handed me the diary. The smirk on his face announced he had read it, but I did a happy dance, anyway.
Don’t worry – he promised to conceal all my secrets for a bucket of chicken wings! And I’m prying into his secrets to keep him quiet. Smart, eh?
Cheerio,
Riley
