Sports lessons in school timetable

Am I the only one who relishes the idea of having a little delirium through the continuous mind-numbing lessons? Hardly anyone denies that P.E is a must-have subject at school and I am no exception in that respect.

To begin with, what I adore the most about having sport lessons is the way that they teach us vital life skills. It is as plain as a pikestaff that the opportunity to play a game of basketball with peers, for instance, will surely help us to be more social and understand others, thus enabling us to bond well and be a part of something bigger: a team. This means that the interpersonal and communication skills that we acquire through team sports during school hours can be an invaluable rehearsal in building our character. Sports lessons are indeed crucial for a student’s holistic development.

What is more, as far as I am concerned, it is this notion that makes the schools more desirable. It is beyond all disputes that knowing we have an exclusive period just to relax ourselves would undeniably make the school a bit more fulfilling. When we are certain to get a subject to refresh our minds through fun games, we could change the whole idea of the schools being deadly bland. Consequently, the students’ result will flourish tremendously as the love for our school and learning grows markedly. Unequivocally, a sports lesson is the best remedy for an exhausted and dejected mind.

In a nutshell, I unwaveringly believe that it is high time we all gave the concept of having physical education in the school a go-ahead as it redefines our mindset about schools and prepares us for the real big deal – life. After all, since school is the main genesis of sweet memories, we better make the most of it, shouldn’t we?
