Dear Evelynn,
Guess what? You’ve absolutely got no idea how thrilled I was for this weekend. I’m dying to tell you all about it. Let me fill you in.
Remember the art competition I won last week? Well, believe it or not, as the first prize, I got to choose a city to spend my weekend in and, you guessed it right, I chose Paris! I don’t need to tell you it’s always been my fancied dream to see the Eiffel Tower one day, do I? I was literally bursting out of excitement.
The best part of the whole trip was going to Louvre museum; the place is out of this world. It was like a mansion from the fairy tales – simply flawless. I roamed around the museum like I was daydreaming. I admit, I must’ve seen lost but that didn’t matter at all. I bet you dollars to doughnuts, I won’t forget about that astounding tour ever- well, unless I get amnesia (haha). All those pictures of Eiffel Tower made the place my second favourite.
When the weekend was over, I kind of felt bittersweet. It was the most fun I had, ever and I was pleased as punch to have got the chance, but a little gloomy because it ended so soon. You know how euphoric I’d be if I were to even to spell ‘Paris’, let alone visit there.
If only you were there with me, we could’ve set Paris on fire (figuratively, though). Hey, I’ve got to run some errands. Do keep in touch.
Hugs and kisses,
Lula
