A Star Model Answer
Dear Sondra,
I’ve been meaning to tell you something, but I couldn’t say this face-to-face which is why I opted for a letter.
I know this may sound judgmental and priggish of me, but I’ve noticed you sometimes put your nose in other people’s businesses. Like yesterday, when Larissa said she was desolated and didn’t want to talk about it, you kept pestering her until she eventually admitted her parents were getting a divorce. I’m sure deep down you agree being nosey is a very irritating habit, especially when someone is in an emotional turmoil.
I know you’re a rational girl and you can easily kick the habit. It may be hard to resist being inquisitive, but you can do it if you’ve enough willpower. Not voicing every single one of your thoughts would help, too. Just imagine being in the other person’s shoes and think how’d they feel being bombarded with prying questions. They’ll share if they want us to know, won’t they?
I know it seems hard, but if you stop it, you’d have better friends. Not that you already don’t; we’ve been through thick and thin, haven’t we? But still, people like those who’re considerate about their feelings and respect their privacy.
No hard feelings, I hope? I’m just looking out for you, buddy. Do reply and tell me what you think.
Love,
Ryn
