Student’s Response::
She was embarrassed of her inability to read in the school. As a result, she misbehaved to conceal her inability. However, she was bullied and mocked by her classmates as they knew the truth. She left the school without any certificate. When she got a daughter, she faced complications again, as she could not help her daughter with homework or read aloud any bedtime stories. This motivated her to buy a book and aim to read it completely. With great difficulty, she traced the words with her finger and read it aloud. It was an exhausting experience, but ultimately she could read anything and to enhance the skill she joined the National Literacy Trust reading course. (116)
